Wonderland in black and white, and every bit as mad

Bold black spots on the cup, a scalloped black and white striped saucer with "We are all mad here" at its centre, and inside, the whole of Wonderland waiting for your tea leaves. This is the most graphic cup in my Alice range, and it looks as good in a modern kitchen as it does at a mad tea party.

I'm Karin. I design these cups, I read with them, and I teach people to do the same. Every Wonderland character inside is a symbol you can read, so your first reading can happen with your very first cup.

How it works

Drink your tea, leaving a little liquid and a few leaves behind. Swirl the cup three times, turn it onto the saucer to drain, then turn it back over. Look at which Wonderland characters the leaves have settled beside, and your guide tells you what each one means. Unsure about a symbol? Draw a card from your Oracle Deck for a second opinion.

What it gives you

• A daily ritual with real style, not a novelty mug
• Clarity on the questions already sitting on your mind
• A second layer of meaning, with the free Oracle Deck.
• A gift for any Alice lover with a monochrome eye

From Karin

I learned to read tea leaves at my mother's table in Tasmania, and I have been reading them all my life. For years my readings spread by word of mouth; in 2012 I took my practice online, and in 2017 I opened my online school, where over 17,000 students have since learned with me. Every piece is designed by me and made in my Berwick studio.
