This striking set features deep burgundy roses against white bone china, paired with authentic tasseomancy symbols from the 1700s printed around the interior rim, the very symbols used by tea leaf readers for centuries to interpret the language of leaves. This set is from the 1960s.

Design and craftsmanship

This set is in really good condition, with no chips, no cracks, and very little wear to the gold. Every piece is ready for its next chapter. All images and accents are food-safe. For longevity, hand wash only with mild soap, avoid abrasive scrubbers, and do not microwave due to the metallic detailing. An occasional soft-cloth polish will help preserve the lustre of the gold trim.
