Tea Leaf Reading With A 21st Century Twist

I am absolutely in love with the Tea Leaf Reading Steampunk cards — they are stunning and just as gorgeous as every other set I’ve bought from Karin. The colors are extremely vibrant and vivid; the artwork pops and adds an incredible burst of life to any tarot or oracle spread. Whether you use these cards on their own (they’re already richly detailed and beautiful) or layered into Karin’s other mat systems, they bring so much brightness and depth to readings.

I personally adore using these cards with Karin’s mat and charms — the combination creates such expansive, in-depth readings. While they’re lovely and very perfect by themselves, they really do shine when paired with her other pieces like the mat, buttons, or coins. I already own the circle mat and am tempted to add the coin set next because the whole system is just that wonderful.

The included booklet is excellent — the imagery and symbolism are easy to learn for beginners, yet the system yields very nuanced results even for experienced readers. This makes the set a fantastic gift for someone curious about divination but intimidated by traditional tarot. I use these cards professionally with clients, and they always leave surprised and delighted by the colors, clarity, and depth.

I am absolutely in love with Karin’s Tea Leaf Reading coins and the accompanying mat — they are stunning! The coins are extremely vivid and vibrant, with a gorgeous gloss that makes every symbol pop. The mat is equally beautiful and colorful; I’m a total stickler for vibrancy and she absolutely pulled it off. The images are rich and lively and everything feels so well done and professional.

Karen is incredibly kind and attentive — she even included extra goodies and always responds to my emails, which has been so helpful because I’ve sent her a lot about custom orders. One item I also highly recommend are the Tea Leaf Reading buttons (if they’re still available) — they’re these adorable little buttons instead of charms and are absolutely gorgeous. The beauty of Karen’s system is its flexibility: you can use the buttons with the mat, then layer on top with charms or pair with her tea leaf cards. It’s such a groundbreaking system with so many layers and ways to personalize readings.

Do yourself a favor and read the guide she provides (and check the link in the booklets). I absolutely loved the videos she made explaining the readings and her other mat systems — they make learning the method so approachable and inspiring. I’ve also purchased her Alice in Wonderland button system — so beautiful and gorgeous!

I am a tarot reader and offer many divination systems and have also created my own (I own over 400 tarot/oracle decks and see many clients), and this system is one of my favorites to use for clients. It always leaves them excited by the colors, imagery, and depth of interpretation. I’m very, very happy with everything.

I ordered the Labyrinth Through Time deluxe kit and absolutely love it! It is so detailed and very attractive. It is also very easy to use right away even if you don't have experience with oracles. If you are looking to read professionally but are new to it, this kit will encourage and aid you in giving accurate and meaningful readings. I also got the Raven Casting Mat and it's just gorgeous!
